Is there really no way to leave a page at actual size and center it, or am I missing this critical function? I proof (or have clients review) bookmarks, business cards, hand bills, etc. It is important for presentation purposes that they be centered on the page and still at actual size. I can only find a combined "fit/center" function with this new interface. That is disastrous. Please tell me I'm just missing it, and Adobe didn't really take away this important functionality.

I usually used the object tool for this functionality, though I do not use an automated approach. If you select everything on the page with the object tool you can move them around. You also try the crop tool and move one margin out and the opposite one in. Not sure it will work, but might work.

I'm not sure what you mean. My page size is the size of the bookmark or business card, so I can't move the object to center. It's when I go to print that I can't figure out how to center the document on the printed page without "fitting" it. Do you know what I mean? Am I missing a command in the new print interface somewhere?

As far as I know, you should see a check box for "auto-rotate and center." I would try that. I have it on AA9.

I currently have Acrobat 6.0 Professional and I love it. But I just received a file from someone which is requiring me to update the reader. But I need the version of the latest Acrobat which I can edit files (do all the things I can with Professional 6.0). Can someone advice me which software to get?

in Acrobat 9, we can customize the PDF optimizer in the Patch processing sequences.

Where's this feature in Acrobat X??

    Please reply. Thank you!
