Does PR support "DUAL" processors. GPU OR CPU.
Iam willing to upgrade to dual Xeons like " HD-Juggernaut"
Is it helful for PR or not, or i just stick with i7?
If you are primarily interested in Premiere, then dual Xeons are not beneficial and dual GPU's are not supported. If you are running any other graphics demanding software there may be a good reason to consider them. The best thing you can do is discuss your uses directly with Eric at ADK. He is very honest in his recommendations.
Wrong. Dual Xeons are VERY beneficial if your editorial work includes any editing of large formats like Red, Epic and such. If you are just doing smaller format stuff then they are probably overkill.
Why dont you share with us what kind of editing you are doing. Blanket statements made without that knowledge are sheer foolishness
If you are in the professional market needing the ability to do a wide range of projects, my observation is the most accurate. If you are more a hobbyist, amateur or do weddings and such then a single processor might be fine.
The Dual Xeon is definitely utilized by Premiere and especially AE. However it is really only required or ideal for certain workflows. A dual Xeon is ideal for Red/4K projects and dealing with a large amount of AE work. Outside of those the X79 Workstation platform gives the overall best performance with the MPE engine without spending near as much as a Dual Xeon. The workflow you describe above would run ideally on a X79 system. You would not require a Dual Xeon.
