My adobe premier elements 10 software didn't work?

I took it back to the store for an exchange.

While uninstalling the original installation I'm being told to remove the serial number before uninstalling. There wasn't any instruction given on how to remove the serial number. Can you help me remove the old serial number and install the new software.

    Hi Mylenium,

    Thanks for taking the time to help me with this problem.

    I spent some time yesterday with adobe support.

    They thought when I exchanged my software with Best Buy that my serial number was blacked out? They requested my new serial number. By the time I transferred to a new page and entered my redemption code and received my serial number I lost my conact with adobe support. How do I determine if I deactivated and removed my old serial number?
