Just a simple question. I have an image sequence with an outlined sweater in png format, transparent background and the first image as a poster image, as told in the help.
When I place it over a white background, no trouble. The image rotates when swipped and it stops after that.
The rub is that I want to place this image sequence partially over a flat color background and some other square picture. The image sequence plays nicely BUT the poster image stays there while rotating, spoiling the effect. That doesn't happen when the bottomn is paper-colour.
Any ideas of what am I doing wrong or how to avoid that? Perhaps placing the image sequence as a second state in a MSO?
Thanks a lot

it's a 360 right ?
the only solutuion i found is to make an autoplay on the sequence, so when page loads the poster is hidden.
So your 360 wil play once, and then afterwards you can swipe it when you want.
It's me again reporting back. The poster image showing in the background happens always that you use PNG images with a transparent background to build an image sequence (v22), with or withou anything in the background.
If you use JPEG images that does not happen BUT you lose any transparency (I have not tried using a clipping path). PSD format results in a non-functional sequence (image does not change).
PS. Not using 'funny' diacriticals, though I like to put hâts and tõupées to my letters
This has been a problem for a long time. I posted the only solution I've found at the bottom of this discussion
Basically you'll create a two state MSO using your first PNG file as the first state and the PNG sequence as the second state.
That trick works all right. Thanks!
I am pasting your answer there (as it was more detailed) so as to have it as a reference here as well:
One way around this is to make an MSO with the first state being the first frame of your PNG sequence and the second state being the image sequence. You set the MSO to autoplay with a short interval (0.125 secs), tell it to play 1 time and to stop at the last image. If you want to edit the image sequence settings once you've put it into the MSO just select the state in the object states panel and double-click on the image sequence. Image sequence options such as "Swipe to Change Image" should work normally.
Last minute update as a piece of advice to bystanders: There's one tiny rub to this trick in the fact that poster images, being hidden at first, are not shown in the scrolling-pages TOC (the one that you see by tapping the right upper corner). So, depending on your layout, the page may seem half empty to the user before loading-opening it.
Aside from that, it works all right.
I'm not sure how you set up your MSO, but you should see the first frame of your PNG sequence in all the thumbnails/scrubber preview images that DPS automatically creates. You shouldn't be using a poster image, maybe that's the problem. You literally want to place the first frame of your PNG sequence as an object in your design. Then preview your design on an iPad and there won't be any visual holes in any of the preview/navigation images. After placing the full image sequence as a separate object and then making an MSO with two states, one state with the placed single PNG object and the second state with the PNG sequence object, you should be able to preview on your iPad and the preview/navigation images should look identical to the way they did when you were just using the single PNG object. No holes in the design. I can put together a sample file if I get time later this week, just let me know if you're still having problems.
