collage on ipad and photoshop cs5.5

Could someone please tell me where the plug-in is? I keep going around in circles on this website and can not find what I am looking for. Collage looks pretty cool at the moment, but if I can't get it to photoshop then for me it is useless

    With the new update of Collage, you could now SYNC your collages to Creative Cloud and download it as PSD on your desktop to take it further.

    Do try and it and give your feedback about this new feature.

    When I try to download it from creative cloud I only have the option of original where it says file format and that is a colz file.

     

    I tried using stuff-it to expand one of those files which sort of worked, then I tried to open one of the expanded files with photoshop.....  finally decided to kill photoshop after it was creating layers and got to about 10000 copies or something like that with about 200MB of memory used up

    Hi Karen,

     

    You don’t have to unzip the colz file. Currently the download as PSD option is not appearing for already uploaded collages, it appears for newly uploaded collages only.

    You can follow either of the two options mentioned below:

     

    1. via Browser:

    Download the original (colz) file and upload it back to your account.

    Now you will see the download as PSD option with this new file uploaded.

     

    2. via iPad:

    Make some changes in the collage for which you want to create PSD and sync it to your creative cloud account.

    Now you will see the download as PSD option.

     

    Do get back to us if you are still finding trouble.

    Hi,

     

    I have tried both of these options and neither are working. I still only get the download as original. I only got the app a couple of days ago so unless there has been an update today then I would have thought that anything I have created should be fine.

     

    I tried creating a new collage and it still didn't allow me to download as psd.

     

    Has their been and update to the app or am I missing a setting that needs to be sorted?

    Hi Karen,

     

    I didn't see the PSD option available for some Collage projects I had already created, a simple fix I found was to open the project again on the tablet, make some minor change to the project (causing it resave) and then re-uploading it to the Creative Cloud files section, after doing so the PSD download option was available for me.

    This sounded similar to what was already suggested but I wondered if maybe there was some minor difference.

    Hi,

     

    I have tried this a couple of times and it doesn't seem to work. Could you tell me which version of collage you are using? I am on 1.0.1 which is the latest one available through the itunes app store. As I said, I tried editing one and saving it, making a new one, downloading and uploading and it doesn't seem to work. Just to check things out, I do get multiple options for other files types that I have sync'ed just not the collage ones.

    Hi Karen,

     

    I have version 1.01 on my iPad as well. What browser are you logging into Creative Cloud from? Do you see the PSD option with my file?

    Hi,

     

    I am using chrome to log into creative cloud. Yes I saw the option for the psd file on yours.

     

    Ok, I just created a new file I was going to share, and in the process of this, it has worked....  I swear I didn't do anything different, and now it is working for a new one and I made changes to another file and it has worked properly.

     

    I don't understand, but it seems to be working now. Thankyou
