Connecting BC through Dreamweaver CS6

Hi there...

 

Just got an issue connecting to the site via Dreamweaver CS6... No firewalls.

 

Site number 1: Connect no problem: (this site is "live")

 

Can see the BC panel to the right as in this image.

Site number 2: Can't connect, even though I can FTP via dreamweaver, and I'm editing a page that i downloaded from the site using dreamweaver... (this site isn't "Live")

Any ideas why?

    Try this fix:

     

     

    • Click Site  in the menu bar
    • Click Manage Site
    • Select your site
    • Click edit
    • Click on servers
    • Select your site again
    • Click edit
    • Under Password, entere the password for your CLOUD ID

    Thanks Brad... Actually - I see the problem now... The site was set up as a "Dreamweaver" site (not sure how!)

    Any idea how to change that?

     

    Or is it a case of delete & restart? Or "import" an existing BC site (i.e. the same one that I've got online & a copy of on my machine).  This site was definitely "started" via the online portal site start function...

    Yep just delete it and import bc site. You don't have to delete any files just when you import the bc site just select the same local folder that you were using. Save you having to re download them.

    That site list is part of what I'm converting over to BC... 1 down, only 25 to go.
