Hello All!
I'm having upload issues with two online services that I use. I am not getting any notifications, it is just not uploading. Well, that's true for one, with other, I upload, the # of images I selected for upload appear, but then they aren't uploading and the little circle that is supposed to be green and checked isn't. Then I open to select images again, and where you can select images to import the images from your computer, there is "plug-in failure" and nothing more. It doesn't say WHICH plug-in is failing, it just says plug-in failure.
This is what I have done so far (not in any particular order):
•reinstalled flash
•reinstalled acrobat reader
•reinstalled silverlight
•reinstalled Java
•reinstalled the Mountain Lion OS (twice)
•cleared my history
•cleared my cache
•reset safari
Any help you could provide would be appreciated. One is a main part of my sales process and I'm in dire need of it to work.
[Yes, I have contacted their support but they said, after a week of their techs working on it, that it is an issue on my end, not their's.]
I have a Mac and I am using Safari.
Thank you for your time and your assistance in advance. ![]()
What pages are you having problems uploading to? You mentioned a number of different technologies that you reinstalled, is there a reason you think Flash is failing here? Could you try uploading a file with Adobe's file sharing site to see if this works https://www.acrobat.com/sendnow/en/home.html? You can send the file to yourself or feel free to email it to me and I'll let you know if I receive it (ccampbel@adobe.com)
Chris,
It is a website where I can upload images and they're made into slideshows. It is called www.animoto.com and they told me that flash is the only plugin that is used on that portion, which is why I concluded that it is a flash problem.
I'll try the upload tomorrow and e-mail it to you tomorrow. Thank you for your time and help!
~Michael
Chris, I have tried that. I tried Firefox and had the same problem. I was unable to load.
HOWEVER, I just installed a new update for Mountain Lion and while I do not know what they did, whatever they did do, IT WORKED!!!!![]()
So now I am able to upload images, and I am truly thankful for your time and help on this issue! It appears I wasn't alone and Apple fixed it.
Thank you again!
