DW CS6 File saving and opening Question

I noticed this glitch in DWCS6 and also Flash CS6, for instance, if i crop an image in Photshop and save to a folder, I open the folder and see the file inside. Now I open Dreamwever and go to add the file ( which is a jpg ) to an html page. But when I open and navigate to the folder the file is in it is not there.

 

I have tried this a few times and have no idea why this is.

 

I'm in Lion 10.7 as mentioned running DWCS6

 

any help as this is slowing me down.

    Are you talking about the site window when you say "navigating to the folder and the file is not there"?

     

    If so, you'll need to refresh the site window view first, if DW is open when the file was created. It's the little circular arrow in the site window or F5. I've had that fail before though and when that happens, switching to the desktop in the site window and then back to my site clears it up.

    I do refresh the site window and still do not see this, I added the new jpgs over an hour a go and refreshed but still do not see the files within DW

    I have that too from time to time.

     

    In that Files tab, can you select your desktop from the drop down menu?

     

    If so, switch to that, then back to the site and see if they appear.

    No, this is killing me here as I cannot finish this site without getting this solved.

     

    Iclosed and reopened the site, quit and opened DW refreshed the site and STILL same problem.

     

    I'm gonna take a shot and repair disk permissions.
