deleted Publisher doc after I sent as PDD. Want to 1 - edit PDF 2- return to Publisher or any suggestions how to otherwise edit file. Is it possible to burn and import back?

Not with Reader, no. It looks like there may be a few tools online that you can try.

You could copy and paste the text, with a bit of luck. But otherwise, no, start again would be my recommendation.
