How to batch process multiple layers to jpegs

Aug 28, 2012 9:39 AM

I have over 500 layers of different texts over a simple background image. I need to move through each one of these layers, making only one and the background visible, then doing the same for the next, and saving each out as a separate .jpeg. I know how to batch process the jpegs giving each a different filename, but how do I move through the layers?

Thanks.

Have you looked at using File>Scripts>Export Layers to Files?

Export Layers to Files will not select the background layer along with each layer but this script will..

There would be a problem with your set up, to get it to work you would have to create a snapshot,  lose the groups/layersSets and have all layers visible. You can then save each layer with the background then revert back to the snapshot.
