I'm working on a Fluid Grids Layout and have made an alteration directly in the CSS doc. Now that I come out to Design View, the two divs I've altered are no longer "connected" to the Fluid Grid functionality for the screen size I've specified. Their green coloring has vanished and right-clicking doesn't seem to show any options for re-establishing these divs as being governed by the Fluid Grid Layout funcitonality.
Anybody got a hint as to how to make this reconnection?
Thanks for the though, but that's not the issue.
I'm actually finding the Design View pretty much useless once I shift into more detailed styles for each size (and in fact I've added sizes and orientations to my media queries). Once that happens, the Design View display doesn't seem to behave as one would hope. i.e., selecting the "Desktop" icon and changing column sizes for a Fluid Grid div doesn't respond. This sucks bigtime, because what excites me most about this is the math it takes away from my life. However, if the interface is not responding I may as well go back to the ole calculator.
Without seeing your code, I can't comment on your specific issues.
In my limited experience with Fluid Grids I found that % widths with decimals don't round out well in all browsers. Fluid Grids is a nice tool to help get your projects started but ultimately you need to manually tweak the code for best x-browser results.
