I have a licensed copy of Director 11.5, need to move to a new machine and thus trying to download the trial onto new machine before transferring license. But download button on Adobe site does nothing (Windows 7, tried in IE9, Chrome and FF)
Where are you trying to download Director from? Have you tried downloading from http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=director?
I checked several of those things but the problem remains the same in 3 different browsers (IE9, Chrome and FF) and on two different machines - one being the new one (which I am using to download various free and licensed software to repeat the configuration on old machine, with so far no other problem), the other being old (existing) Vista machine which is stable and works perfectly well in every other respect (including downloading from various sites). I belive that something is wrong the the Adobe site, for example, if I try to download Photoshop, I get response from the download button - appearance of Adobe Download Assistant etc.
Thanks Jeff, it's good that it has been reported, but 3 days later nothing has changed. Adobe seems to have all but cut off any means of contacting them for support. But the fact remains that I have paid a lot of money for this software and surely I have consumer rights to be able to access and use it? What else can be done?
