cross reference divides into two hyperlinks

When i update cross reference it divides into two hyperlinks after export PDF i don't know why.. Note: im using indesign cs5.5 me

    I think that the main reason of this problem is writting in right to left language but page number direction is left to right i think thats why cross reference devided

    i tried to change direction but i got nothing.

    anyone has suggest???

    I think you're right - I experienced this in Arabic and Farsi, and was reduced to fixing links in Acrobat because I couldn't figure out how to convince InDesign that it was one hyperlink.

    I should add that my case was complicated by a LTR hyperlink breaking across columns in a RTL text flow... upon rereading your post I'm not 100% sure that we are experiencing the same issue, but I bet they're related. I have some Arabic open in CS5.5 right now - and in a LTR page flow as well, just like your case. I'll do some cross-ref experimentation to see if I can reproduce your issue exactly and post again later.

    i think if you create RTL character style and use nested style you can use it in cross reference and it will resolve your issue "en sha' ALLAH"
