Purchasing CS6 for an educational institute

Aug 6, 2012 1:04 PM

I work for a FE college and am wanting to purchase CS6 Design and Web to be installed on 100 computers, a mix of macs and pcs.  What sort of licensing do I need? and how many systems are covered with the licence?  I am struggling to locate what information i need from the site.

Thanks

    Hi Lanny,

You may wish to go to the Education dedicated portion of the Adobe website: http://www.adobe.com/education/

I assume by "FE College" you mean Further Education? To confirm your institution is eligible to purchase Education versions of Adobe software there is a brief eligibility guide linked from the page above which will help answer the question of whether your college is eligible. There are also links to a variety of resources and programs available to Education customers.

    Hi Lanny,

It sounds like you need an Adobe volume license for education... which would allow you to run the suite on multiple computers of both platforms with one serial number for each operating system, all with a single purchase.

These links may help -- and because you're in education, you may even be able to set up a Concurrent Use license.

I thought it would be better if we can have a college version too? I want to Upgrade to my old Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and more, with the Adobe CS6 Master Collection - from student and teacher edition. Also want to get an even more impressive looking image or video, with new features that will help me editing and create with more precision than ever before.
