publishing android apps

Hi,

 

I am trying to setup an Multi issue android app for a magazine including a free first issue, with chargable issues from there on in using Adobe DPS Professional.

 

To achieve my goal I have performed the following:

  1. Setup my Android developer account
  2. Activated my bank account with Google
  3. Added my shared Android "Public Key" to my Android Shared Secret in DPS Admin
  4. Created my Android app with my free 1st issue - which worked and is available

 

My problem is when I add my 2nd folio, which is published as public & retail for issue 2 as an in-app purchase it is not appearing in my app, but if I change the ID and publish as free it appears. Can you help me as to where I am going wrong with my retail in-app purchase?

    Did you set up in-app product in Google Play? Product id should match the product id that you publish with from Folio Producer.

    One important thing to note is the product ID of the retail folio. The published product ID of the folio has to match exactly also on the  in-app purchase page on Google Developer dashboard.

    And remember, you will also have to publish the in-app purchase as well even though the app itself is published. Check to make sure in-app purchase state is in published mode :-)

    Thank you for your responses, but I have setup and published my in-app purchase using my ID that I pasted from Folio Producer and as I say if I go back to Folio Producer and re publish the folio as Free it appears in the app straight away. As soon as I turn it back to a retail product it disappears again. I have setup my Google Wallet account and shared my Google Key in DPS Account Administration. Any ideas on what else I can try?

    What is the type of In-App purchase that you have created and what is the status, does it says approved????

    The in-app purchase is a managed item that has a tick stating it is published. I was not aware of an approval process with Android. When I marked it as free it was published to the app instantly. Is there an approval process for only retail in-app purchases?
