Hi, folks,
I have a list of songs in spotify and I want to add a link to it in one page. Questions are:
1. I have just read in a post of 2011 of this forum I couldn't call another app from mine. Is that still so?
2. If I were able to add that list... Spotify gives me two possible links:
- spotify:user:gusgsm:playlist:5v8WL6T96QZevq7yPlBWW8
Which one should I use —If any? I guess the first one?
The idea would be that the user taps over the link button and then, if he has spotify, that app opens and plays the list.

PS. Do not hold your breath about the songs in the list. It is just a test one ;)
This document might help along with Googling, give it a try http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#featuredarticles/iPhoneURLSche me_Reference/Introduction/Introduction.html
Hi,
Thanks for the info (I'm keeping it as a reference for other issues). I've tried both links and they do not work (though the second one works in Safari as a link with href.
When I tap them, the url is opened in a new window. I can see "R&B blanco by Gustavo... on Spotify" and a "play" icon.
But then comes up a pop-up window with the following message (translated from Spanish):
The page cannot be shown
This page cannot be opened due to an error.
The error is "The URL can’t be shown (101)
OK
Should I try to make a link to an html story, place that in an overlay and then call Spotify from that html?
Or that is irrelevant and I cannot open Spotify from a DPS made app.? (and I guess that applies to other apps like YouTube app. facebook app and the like?)
Thanks
