An error happened during the publication
One of your articles does not match match the folio's orientation.
Articles orientations must match the folio's orientation
thing is, all my articles (10) are horizontal (single pages except on article whiwh is two pages where i force the horizontal view)
I really can't see what's wrong
-all files are "_h"
-what i mean by force "force horizontal view" is when you got a two pages article (in this case, horizontal) and you don't want people to swipe it "down" but only from left to right (because in that case the background is split in two for a special effect) . I don't think this has any effect on this subject (?)
I went back on design and asked for a preview through the folio builder panel
It told me my first article did not have the right orientation, so I think that's it, I reloaded it, but I still got the same messageI check back again on
So I check back again on the folio builder panel in inDesign, and it tells me the orientation is .... horizontal. So it matches, but it still does not work !
To Seb Adore,
All the horizontal files have to be the same within the folio builder panel you may have added content with the incorrect orientation within the folio builder ,if you create horizontal single folios then adding both landscape and portrait orientations to The mix may have caused this error within you articles and the folio's.

note also that I've got the exact same message for 3 other (old) folios i tried to preview (as I did many tests on this precise article, redid it, reuploaded it, deleted it from the cloud, reuploaded it, renamed it, everything ....)
i did not change anything to them
they could be previewed properly before, now they can't
so i guess there's a bug somewhere ...
to vividi (thanx)
what do you mean by "be the same within the folio builder" ?
alll my articles are 1204/768, and are named _h
for the "added content" same thing, always added thing the same way, and see post just above, some folios that workd before do not work now and I got the same message I never saw before ...
To Mister LEVINE
new thing here ....
when i delete the first article in my folio (the one concerned by the original mesage saying that this article does not match the folio orientation)
THEN
when i try to do the preview again I got the same message ...
for what was the second article and is now the first ....
getting mad.
Folio can be portrait-only, landscape-only, or dual orientation. To preview or publish the folio, all articles must match the folio orientation. Example: If you create portait orientation folio, all articles must be of same layout(potrait). So if you want to add both horizontal and vertical article, create dual orienation folio from folio builder panel and add both horizontal and vertical layout aticles.

To Seb,
Within the folio builder you can select Single Vertical,Single Horizontal, also Single and Horizontal orientations I found that you need to always select the exact orientation before uploading to the folio builder as this can cause some problems.
" I used Horizontal to show a two page view but did not select it correctly inside the folio builder when adding it to a single orientation vertical folio, and this caused me some problems in my own folio's".
You say your older folios worked fine but they are not working now, maybe has something to do with the current viewer or a bug.

Vividi
mmmm yes thanx ....
as all my articles are landscape, maybe the problem is the folio itself, so i wanna make sure about
After you create a folio, you can use the Folio Properties dialog box to specify a publication name, change the size, and choose cover preview images. Some folio properties such as orientation, image format, and folio size cannot be edited in the Folio Properties dialog box. If necessary, create a new folio with the appropriate settings.
In the Folio Builder panel, select a folio.
when i click on properties in inDesign, I DO NOT SEE this:
I just have a "Properties" link, and the popup only gives ooportunity to change the name, and upload horizontal and vertical covers
three days lost as i gotta leav for the week end now ...
thanx all for help
