Adobe reader on my android tablet does not accept login & therefore I can't get my Sony ereader app to work.
How do I fix this?
I am not sure exactly what you are doing or asking for. Can you describe what specifically you are trying to do, and the steps you are taking?
Adobe Reader is not in any way connected to the Sony Reader or their bookstore. If you buy books from Sony, you should be able to use their app to read them.
I am having the same problem. While they might not have anything to do with each other, it seems to be connected to Adobe somehow .When I launch the App on my phone or my tablet,It asks for my sony e reader log in and password. When I put that information in, it then asks me for my adobe ID conformation ..Specifically it says "Sony Reader Store is using Adobe DRM technology for rights protected content. Please enter your Adobe ID and password to proceed". So you can see how I might think they they are somehow connected. When I put in my Adobe ID and password, nothing happens..it just keeps going to the above mentioned screen and asking for the same info over and over. This happens on multiple devices (3 devices to be exact) so I am a little confused as to what I am doing wrong . I am sure I am missing a step. Perhaps I am asking my question in the wrong forum, but if sony ereader and adobe arent connected then why do they need my adobe log in ? I am not sure if the origifnal poster and I are having the same problem, but any help would be appreciated.
You're facing this issue because Digital Publishing Services of Adobe are down currently ( You can cross check on the same in this link http://health.acrobat.com/ ).
Please try logging in to Sony e-Reader app using your Adobe ID and password at a later time and you should not face any issue.
