CS3 reinstallation

I have installed CS3 Production Premium on a Mac with Snow Leopard and plenty of memory, I am now getting errors with premiere Pro so i am trying to reinstall. The reinstall screen asks me to insert  CS4 Master Collection disc, and refuses to go further

    What error message are you receiving?  Do you have any other Adobe software installed on your computer?

    The error message with Premiere Pro itself was after trying to access the Preferences; I would get a fatal error and quit message. That was the reason for my wanting to reinstall. What bothers me is that during the process of reinstallation I am asked for a CS4 disc which I have never had, so I cannot complete the process. I have Adobe Reader installed as well as the full CS3 Production suite (my copy of CS3 is licensed).
