I am trying to update version 2.3.0.0 from 2.0.0.0 but when i try to download i receive the message

I am trying to update version 2.3.0.0 from 2.0.0.0 but when i try to download i receive the message (There was an error downloading the update. Error# 16820) can any one help

    Same as Pat asked in the other thread: What exactly are you trying to update?

    Sorry, When I open adobe on my laptop (I have not used adobe before)and I

    go to file and then to 'Create an adobe PDF using Acrobat.com' a pop up

    comes appears and states

     

    'A mandatory version of the application is available for download.

    Application can't continue without installing this version.'

     

    It states the installed version is 2.0.0.0 and the update version is

    2.3.0.0.

     

    When i click download now, a pop up appears and states;

     

    There was an error downloading the update. Error# 16820

     

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Could it be that you are talking about Adobe AIR?  Download and install the latest version from http://get.adobe.com/air/
