About the only time I have serious trouble with DW is when FTP gets hung up hung up hung up "waiting for server" so finally I'm exploring other FTP software. A question about Panic's Transmit: does it have a function like DW's to Upload Related Files?

You need to ask the maker of that product. It is unlikely anybody is using that product here because it is a premium product and most people prefer to use something off-the-web for which there are many users who can help. no body pays for FTP client when free ones are as good.

Uploading dependent files is likely to be hard to find in dedicated products. Have you tried debugging your FTP connections on Adobe's test site?

Brad, I use Transmit as my alternative program. I actually own some other Panic products as well. They make some excellent software. However, the answer to your question is no. When it comes to most FTP programs, you are going to find this is not a common feature because the FTP programs have no need to open files, they use 3rd party applications for that, so as a result, they don't see the code to say whether a file is related. With some of their other products it may be possible, but as tax said, you are better off asking Panic directly.
Murray, I almost never have a problem connecting to my ftp server. 19 times out of 20 the DW ftp works okay, but occasionally it hangs on "waiting for server" and the server log will show that there was no wait time on that end, so it's got to be something on my end.
And thanks for the info, SnakeEyez02. Yeah, Panic's stuff is really fine because it's so Mac-like and lean.
