I know this is a subjective question, but I am having trouble figuring out which product would be best suited for my needs. I simply want to take photographs that I already have, create objects (such as donate buttons), ( click here to read the back story), (click here to learn more), you get the idea. I want to select an area of the picture and embed or link to a URL. Make 3d buttons clickable that will take the user to a website or load a predefined form.
I have trial versions of Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 6, Adobe InDesign and adobe Photo Elements 10. Not sure where to start and if any of these are what I am looking for. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Basically I have photos of myself and my service animal. She has passed away and I am working on a "Service Dog for Raina Fundraising Campaign". I want to make small pictures to post on newsfeeds on facebook, create pictures to post to people's timelines (making these nice ones), creating email with these same pictures as well as add a few pages to the fundraising websites. I also need to make buttons or areas of the photos that can be clickable to take people to the paypal donation link/website as well as the gofundme website page.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions given. My experience level is Novice. I am comfortable with most software as long as it has tool tips or at least a decent help database for features offered.
Brightest Blessings,
Raina
Sounds like you do not have the Web Design Premium CSSuite. That has Dreamweaver and Fireworks, DW for HTML layout, FW for buttons, rollovers, etc. I like DW's templates which help in giving you a head start. Photoshop ( PS ) is great for sizing the pics down and other things, but to create the image maps ( embedded link hot spots ) will be best done in DW.
