I have a menu (f.i. PAL Nightlife) which duration is 16.20. sec. I have a musicscore under this menu which has a duration of 30.00 sec. In the menu I have an animated button with video of the same length (30 sec). What happened is that, after 16.20, the menubackground dissapears The video (button) with the audio plays further until end (30 sec) on an black background.
The settings on the menu (motion) are: video: Pal Nightlife, Audio: audioclip 30 sec, duration set to 30 sec. Animated button "on" loop point "00, loop "none"
Is there a possibiliy to extend the (standard in encore) menuvideo nightlife from 16.20 till 30.00 so that both, "buttonvideo" and "backgroundvideo" end the same time? Thanks for replying
Chris
You can't in Encore.
You'll get a re-transcode and lose some quality, but here's an option:
Copy the m2v from the Encore library to another location. Import the copy into Premiere. Drag it to the new item icon. Drag the clip again onto Video tgrack 2, so that the end of it is a 30 seconds (or whatever). Play it through; look okay? (for the 30 second version it looked okay to me.)
You have the same beginning/end as orginally designed.
Export as m2v. (There's the quality loss.)
Note that the orig m2v appears to be 3 or 4 shorter repetitions together.

I will try to do so
Thanks
What me annoyed secondly is that by repeating the menu, f.i. in encore the option 17 X after the audio has ended and the clip has ended the same time, before is starts again there is a short black interval.
Is it possible to overcome this black interval , or must I live with it

OK, thanks. In the preview it happens. In previous projects it was seen on the disk also,
I don't know if this also occurs in the project I working on now, but we will see after burning.
You suggests that this problem would not always be the case, do you know which criteria influences this result? Is it possible to overcome this problem before burning a disk?
