I have a MacBook Pro version 10.7.4 and my flash player isn't working. Ive tried multiple times to download and install it from Safari 5.1.6 and it says its "successful" but every time it shows a blank gray box at the "Check Flash Player version on your computer."  I restarted the laptop and even check to delete files such as:

\Library\Internet Plug-Ins\Flash Player.plugin\
Library\Internet Plug-Ins\flashplayer.xpt
~\Library\Preferences\Macromedia\Flash Player\
~\Library\Caches\Adobe\Flash Player\

and if i try to download a older or current version of the flash player, it informs me that I already have a  version installed.

I did what you have told me, and it didn't work out. Flash player isn't working, it's still the same problem. Is there anything else I could do?

Thank you,
