D3200 RAW: not possible to convert to DNG

Tags: #raw #dng #nikon #d3200

I am having problems with my D3200 RAW files

LR4.1 that I am using does not recognise them

I am using Camera Raw 7.1

These should be supporting D3200 based on Adobe RN but it doesn't work

I downloaded DNG converter 7.1 but this fails also

When I press convert I get the message

"the source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files"

It is possible the files are corrupted.  Can you upload a sample file that doesn’t work, using www.DropBox.com or similar?

If you have used Nikon Transfer, it is obsolete and strips metadata from the newer cameras so Adobe cannot recognize them.

How are you transferring the files to your computer?

People were mostly having problems with the D800 and there has been a reference to that in the last day in the Lightroom forum.
