Are you running Mac OS 10.6.8?  Beyond that there is nothing actionable in the current errors you have posted.  I would recommend reviewing your installation logs to determine what is causing your current difficulty.  You can find details on how to accomplish this at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.

No 10.6.8 should be fine.  You will need to review the install logs indicated in message #1 to determine the point of failure.

Alternately you can run the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to attempt to automatically review your install logs.  There is also a package for support option available.  If you wish to respond to this thread with the token number which it provides you.  Myself or another Adobe Employee can then review your logs using that token number.

I would still recommend though reviewing the install logs yourself as well if you decide to follow this route.

This would certainly be a problem Ediaz5.  I checked both of my Mac systems and I do have such a directory.  Have you tried navigating to that location to see if it does exist?

This is your System folder.  If you are missing components from here then please back up your documents and settings and reinstall your operating system.
