I have been having problems with flash opening the Weight Watcher Plan Manager.

SInce the flash update on July 26th I have not been able to open the plan manager in Weight Watchers. I have uninstalled flash and reinstalled it a number of times.  I even reinstalled an older version and it does not help.  I have already done a clean install, deleted cookies, history and the cache.  I have contacted WW and they are no help.  I usually use Firefox, but it also does not work on Chrome, or IE9. Any ideas?

    What do you get instead of the expected Flash content?

     

    Can you see the Flash animation at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html ?

     

    If yes, what Flash Player version does it show below that?

    It tries to open it, but then a box pops up saying"The Plan Manager needs to restart"- to either close it, or restart it, and if you restart it you get the same message. 

     

    Yes I can see the flash animation

     

    flash player 11.4.402.265, windows 7 64-bit, firefox.

     

    I am wondering if Weight Watchers did an update on their site and now nothing works.

    You have the latest version of Flash Player installed, and it seems to work (since you can see the Flash animation on the Adobe website).

    Thanks Pat, but nothing worked.  I think it is something at the Weight Watchers site that is not working.  Thanks for the help.

    I am having a similar issue. I built a new PC a couple of weeks ago. It has Windows 7 64 bit, latest Firefox, latest video drivers, latest Flash version. On my PC the plan manager eventually loads but it is quite slow. It gets stuck on the Loading screen for over a minute before displaying the Plan Manager, and once in it takes a long time to switch pages as well.

    It seems it was a Weight Watchers problem.  The plan manager started working this weekend on its own.  Just wish they would be nice enough to actually answer messages sent to them.  But I am happy it is working again.  That both of you for your help.
