Hi!
This is Rodrigo hope you are doing fine,
My System details:
HP Pavillion desktop p6685es
Windows 7 home premium 64 bits SP 1 and the last updates installed
16 GB Ram
Nvidia 315
Intel Core i5 650@3,20 ghz
115 GB free space on the harddisk
AVG Antivirus
I have administrator rights on the computer
I render already a master of the movie in Quicktime MOV Uncompressed format 1280x720 23,976 fps YUV 10 bits. It is 55 GB size and 15:49 min:sec long.
I have no problems in Adobe Premier 5.5 I can export it as the media I want, I already have a H624 file for VIMEO HD. No problems at all. I have to provide the movie to our costumer in Blueray and DVD and when I tried to create both in Encore I'm facing problems.
We checked the hardware changes we have done since we bought the computer.:
1- We updated the RAM with 2 more Kingston cards (4gb 1each) in total with the old ones 16 GB This shouldn't be the problem as we are not getting a blue screen and in adobre premier with a hugh load of RAM it didn't crash.
2- We have a new Blue ray drive lg blue ray bh10ls38 driver. We updated the drivers to the last version to double check everything is fine. We also remove the other DVD drive to be sure that it is not a SATA conflict.
The event viewer after rebooting in windows says:
Windows Hang error:

We have to give the DVD and the Blueray to the customer this week, it is very important as it will be shown in a Cinema Festival next Monday. I would really appreciate your help in this matter, please let me know if you need further information. Is the first time I open a disccussion hope I did everything ok.
Kind regards
Rodrigo
Hi Stan!
Thanks for your answer and sorry for the delay in mine,
I've tried that.
I exported in premier the sequence to a MPG-DVD and to a MPEG-Blueray, I use the following settings to avoid transcodding in encore:
for the DVD PAL 25fps 720x576 dolby lowerfield first 9 mbps
for the Blueray NTSC 1280x720 23,976 Nofields, dolby, 40 Mbps
I created both m2v and audio files properly in Premier. I close premier and open Encore I create a new project for DVD with the same DVD settings, I add properly the 2 files (m2v and audio) to the timeline but when I click on it it hangs. It happens exactly the same If I try with a Blueray project with the Blueray files. It also happens the same by using a new administrator windows user. I also updated the java engine.
Not sure what to do next, I'm a bit desespererated.
Best regards
Rodrigo
I would create a new Encore DVD project, add just a menu from the library. Try the Fantasy Sky Menu Wide in the Entertanment group; I'm lookng for one with a motion asset.
Render menus. Working so far?
Now select the fantasy sky m2v in the project panel, and Tmkeline -> New timeline. Set end action on the timeline.
Link the new timeline from a button. Delete the other buttons.
Build to a folder.
I'm just checking basic functionality with known good assets.
Hi Stan,
On the second computer it wors fine, I achieved to create a DVD and a Blueray image, I'm copying both right now to the problematic computer to burn the discs (in that one we have the bluerayrecorder drive)
So this case is not that urgent anymore and the priority is low. Anyway we need to solve this issue for the future for the next projects, no we have the problem isolated to one computer, I would much appreciate if you could help me further with the troubleshooting.
Best regards and thanks for your help
