Can we check whether a plugin is loaded in Photoshop from Flex?

Hi!

 

I am developing a hybrid extension. I am using a C++ Automation plugin. At some point I am calling the function in my C++ plugin. I am using executeAction(). Before calling this function, I want to make sure whether my plugin has been successfully loaded into Photoshop. I want this because if my plugin has not loaded, I don't get any error. I tried using exception handling, but no use. It just stops executing. How can I detect this?
