I own Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection. I am taking a class in Fireworks 6 so I need access to that version.
1. Can I get a 30 trial, then pay a monthly subscription fee for just Fireworks after my trial ends so I can finish my class?
2. How much does that cost... just for a Fireworks subscription?
3. Also, can I do this without messing up my current install? My class will be done November 20th.
Any steps or links that someone could provide would be helpful.
I have looked all over the website, all I see is info on Creative Cloud.
Here's a list of individual software products available by subscription:
However, I do not see Fireworks being offered. If it were available, it would likely be $30 on a month-to-month basis.
I wonder if it's really necessary to upgrade to the CS6 version for your class. Other than the CSS Properties panel, Fireworks CS5 and CS6 seem awfully similar, in terms of what they can do.
CSS Properties panel, jQuery mobile skinning, CSS sprite export, new templates (including wireframes for mobile) and symbols in general, updated Properties panel UI, support for RGBA, imporved Styles panel functionality.
There's actually a lot new in CS6.
But before you upgrade, make sure the course is using CS6.
And yes you can install the 30 day trial without messing up your exisiting installation.
