Problems to sign in to Adobe Exchange

Sep 4, 2012 11:24 AM

Need some help

I'm in Photoshop CS6 and want to get an extension from Adobe exchange

I go to Windows/Adobe Exchange

and type what I'm looking for

and a pop up window come up asking to 'sign in'

Every time that I sing in with my ID, it keeps pop in up the same window asking to sing in

What it is this?

How can I get to that?

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm typing the right password and Id . . .

Need some help

Thanks

You're talking about this site, right Daniel?

    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/exchange/

I just went there and found no problems getting search results, so the site appears to be working.

You might try clearing your browser cache (aka Temporary Internet Files), then close all instances of Internet Explorer (or whatever browser you use) and reopen.

Failing that, you might try clearing all your cookies.  Keep in mind that will cause you to have to log in to any sites you've got stored passwords for.

I'm sorry I misunderstood you before.

Unfortunately I haven't used the facility you're asking about and actually have the net access turned off in my preferences, so I don't know what to advise.  Perhaps someone else will step in here who uses that facility.

    Hi Daniel,

You can try asking over here too: http://forums.adobe.com/community/labs/exchange

The panel is not exclusive or intended to only work for Creative Cloud subscribers. I have it working ok under 10.7, downloading/installing the Russell Brown panels but I have that machine setup with a subscription. The AdobeID authentication could use a different code path, which might explain the difference in behavior.

    regards,

    steve
