I will look into the status of your case.

Update:  Your case is part of an ongoing bug that we are working to resolve as quickly as we can, with artifacts in XDCAM footage.  Keep an eye out for any status updates, and make sure to keep your software up-to-date.  You can also transcribe your footage before use as a workaround.

Please understand this is a high-priority for us.

Just to let you know, if there is an issue in our software, we will work on resolving it as fast as we can.  We have to identify the issue, find a resolution for it, and make sure that resolution can be distributed to everyone safely.  Please, be patient, we are working to resolve this.  If you have any deeper concerns, please send me a private message - I do not want to discuss specifics of your case in a public forum.

Just know that we are here, we are listening, and we are working to make everyone's experiences the best we can.

If you must use the files now, as Greg said you have the option to trancode them into another codec. Not ideal, but part of being an editor is using work arounds when you have no better alternatives. Good luck!

I understand the issue, but at this time the best option is to transcode your footage as I stated above.

UT is a free, lossless codec that works on both Windows and Macs, and plays nice with PP.

Jim took the words out of my mouth - UT is a good way to go.

I would suggest the codec that most professional video production companies standardize to these days which is  DNxHD.

UT is lossless and will reate HUMONGOUS files.

DNxHD is subtle compression in a much more reasonable file sizes. It is widely embrced by the industry for a good reason. It looks great and is a managable size. It available for PC and MAC and is the Avid standard.

I am not Jim, but I maybe can help you out.

I think it should be this one you should have:

It is all at the buttom of the page.

Remember to put the codec on both PC's - I forgot that myself at first, that's why I just thought of it

People in the past have had luck putting the file into Adobe Media Encoder.  You can drag and drop you files into the program.

Then, click the hyperlink under Preset to change the output info.   The format should be AVI if you have UT installed, if you have DNxHD installed, then the format is Quicktime.

Once you chosed the correct format, in the video tab there will be a codec drop down.  There you can find the codec you are transcoding to.

Here is a faster alternative to massive trancoding of clips.
