When users visit most web sites, the circle on the Internet Explorer 9 tab just keeps turning and never stops. That web page never becomes accessible and sometimes closing the tab doesn't work. At that point, "End Task" in Task Manager is the only way to close IE.
Here is what I have figured out so far:
1. This problem only happens with users who do not have administrative privileges.
2. Disabling the Shockwave Flash Object in IE fixes the problem.
3. Turning off IE Protected Mode also fixes the problem.
ActiveX Filtering is not turned on.
The computers are running Flash version 11.4.402.265
Ok, you could be running into an IE crash/hang bug that others have also reported (please take a minute and comment/vote for the following bug.) Until this is resolved, my next suggestion would be to revert Flash Player to a previous version.
