unsupported file types

Sep 5, 2012 12:30 PM

I have always shot in raw and still do. The last 2 times I've taken pictures, lightroom won't allow me to import my files off of my compact flash. It says it dosen't support my file type? I thought it was a corrupted card so I tried a second one and it gave me the same results. Any ideas what's going on?

Could you provide some more info. Have you changed anything? e.g new camera?

If it's the same camera that worked before, could you quote the exact error message?

Check to make sure you have read/write previlages for the folder you are copying the files to. If the folder is read only you will also get that error message.

If I'm not mistaken, once you turn on Auto Lightning Optimizer or Highlight Tone Priority, it will not let you go under ISO 200. I forgot which one, but definately one of them will limit your lowest ISO to be 200.
