Version was a system pref app which automatically saved different versions of a file in any CS application (so not app specific).

This was very helpful as you could go back to a 'version' of that file before you made certain changes. (instad of having to save a file manually and rename it)

Als handy when you had a crash.

Does CS6 have anything like this??

Are you referring to Version Cue? If so, that was killed of a long time ago.

Yes, That's the one I'm talking about! Right, is there anything now, that kind of works the same? Or that back-ups a file?

I find Dropbox adds all the versioning capability I need.
