I have compatibility issues

I got a new computer and I'm trying to install an accounting software that uses acrobat 5. When I try to install it, I get an error message that it has compatibility issues. What do I do? I have already installed the new acrobat reader X.

    Acrobat 5 will not be compatible with a new computer. You can probably get by with Reader X if you only need to view pdfs. If you want Acrobat, then get the latest and greatest. Acrobat 5 has all sorts of vulnerabilities that have not been patched it ancient software.
