Why don’t you offer a more specific description of your issue?

Maybe post some screenshots to illustrate what’s going on?

Edit: Just to make sure I tried with a cr2-file and the Adjustment Brush works fine for me.

So more information may be needed.

Any changes I make with the adjustment brush in camera raw, when I open the file in photoshop, the no longer seem to be in affect

What exactly are the steps?

You open and edit the image in ACR then what?

the brush works fine on my CR2 files in camera raw, but when I open it in photoshop the changes are no longer present

I was painting with the adjustment brush to add color to some areas . Changes made with the exposure, contrast and other sliders remain in photoshop when I click open image" but the painted colors are not

Took you long enough …

When you open it as a Smart Object (by hift-clicking the Open Image-button) and subsequently open the SO are the pins still there?

Could you please post a screenshot with the image visible in Photoshop and ACR?

CS6 and acr7 Saved to TIFF instead of PSD and changes are maintained

Hello! What dot versions of ACR (7.0, 7.1, 7.2RC?) of Photoshop 13 or 13.0.1?

Please post a screenshot in the thread, using the forum, click on the camera icon. (by mail, they are not transferred)

Did you try the smart object process?

Using the Open button in ACR to get to PS doesn’t create a PSD or a TIF, it just transfers the image in memory.

As has been asked, already, what are the precise steps of your workflow starting with your painting the adjustment brush strokes in ACR and seeing the image in PS without the strokes, and what exact versions of PS and ACR are you using?
