I am trying to view some videos on youtube and it says I cannot because I do not have the latest flash player. I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version several times and still NO solution to my problem. It’s been TWO days now, could someone please help?
Flash player version is: 11.4.402.265 Windows 7 64-bit Internet Explore 9
How do I make sure JavaScript is turned on, could that be an issue?
Susie - Does the following page report that you are using 11.4.402.265?

I have the same problem.
Using Google Chrome
WIN 7 64bit
I have gone through the uninstall steps and my version is still reported by the "find version" site as 11.3.31.232.
When going through install steps for latest version Google Chrome claims to have the latest version installed automatically.
What can I do?
@afredwenzl - Chrome contains it's own version of Flash Player which is currently at version 11.3.31.232. I'm surprised that YouTube is telling you that you don't have the correct version. Does this page show you Flash content?
