I'm a new mac user and I'm trying to download cs6 master collection. I received the mac license key from school and got as far as an eighth of an inch on the download bar from the adobe download assistant before it advised of an error 109. I know my macbook pro has the space but what location do I download the files to. I'm still thinking like a pc user, HELP!
First was the default location because I didn't know any better, then I tried the applications folder where I saw a cs6 master collection folder. That too also gave me the error 109. I called The Academy of Art online help desk and they advised it was a me/adobe issue. They are just providing the license number.
Another adobe user in the forum advised that they used the "creative cloud" and had no issues but I'm not familiar with that.
Hlorenzo96 please try the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download of the software.
Hi Jeff,
I hope all is well in your world today. I wasn't able to do the direct
download because it advised me that I didn't have access so what I did when
I kept getting the error 109 message on my macbook, I pressed "yes" for
it to keep downloading where it left off in the "interruption". It took 7
days to download from last Thursday using an ethernet cable.
Now the new problem is when I proceeded to install the software all was
good until it got to 2 minutes and 91% of almost finishing. It stopped and
advised that I needed to close my Safari application. I closed out the app
and pressed continue to finish the install. From that point on the minutes
of completion have now increased to 82 minutes and it still says 91%. Help
please! ![]()
Should I just hit cancel and start all over with the install?

Hlorenzo96 to not receive the access denied error it is necessary to follow the directions prior to the link to the download. There are directions to basically initiate a trial download of Photoshop CS6 and then you can click on the links on Prodesigntools.com.
As for your current installation issue it should eventually error out depending on what the error is. Once the installer is completed with errors you can then review your installation logs to determine the root cause of your difficulties. You can find directions on how to accomplish this at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.
Error 109 indicates there were problems with your network connection. Please try initiating a direct download by following the steps listed athttp://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369. If you continue to experience difficulties then you may want to try an alternate Internet connection...
