How to serialize a Student edition of CS 6 without a disc drive on mac?

Hi,

 

I'd like to know how to serialize a Student edition of CS 6 without a disc drive on a macbook pro.  I was thinking I could download and install the trial version and then serializing it once I recieved the license code.  However, someone told me that wouldn't work because the Student edition and the downloadable trial version are different...

 

Is this correct?  If so, how can I install it?

    Hi!

     

    The Thougt which you had was absolutely correct. * Good Thought*

     

    You can download and use the trial version and then you get the serial number after validation, you can just enter the serial number and convert the application to the full verison.

    The someone who told you the setup is different for the Student edition and the Download is different , he/ She is worong.

     

    the setup is same and you are more then welcome to download and install it .
