The main page at http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere has had (seemingly) a new look every day for about a week... someones more than one new look in a day
As of 09-05-12 at 7PM (West Coast USA time) to the main Premiere page looks "great"
Please... let's keep this look for at least a week, to give people time to react and think about what they are seeing... and maybe comment here to agree, or disagree, with me
Jim, as a forum host you see the tabs. Registered users do not see them. All they get is the Overview. They can access the Discussions view by changing the url to http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere/premierepro_current?view=di scussions (note that is for the "current version" sub forum. There are no discussions at the top page (http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere?view=discussions).
John C,
That is not true of all forums, and even in the Premiere hierarchy. I get, and can set several of my Premiere family forums to Discussions, but not all, such as Pr/PrPro CS 4 & Earlier, plus PrPro CS 5/CS 5.5/CS 6. I get Overview ONLY, unless I manually add "discussions" to the URL.
I suppose that I just need to redo all of my Bookmarks, from a Discussions page, and blow away all the old ones, that once allowed for me to set the default.
Hunt, Off to redo his Bookmarks...

I agree with Jim to 100% on this one.
Non-hosts should see the same things as hosts, iow being able to see the tabs as well. Discussions should be the default view, not Overview.
For example, log out and go to the Encore forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/encore
There you can click on the link under Discussions and then you will be taken to this adress and view the Discussions: http://forums.adobe.com/community/encore/encore_general?view=discussio ns (Try to do the same in the Premiere Pro forum...)
I cannot find a link to the Discussions in the Premiere Pro forum, there is no link that takes me to http://forums.adobe.com/community/premiere/premierepro_current?view=di scussions either.
Changing URL's to see Discussions feels like 1995 and not 2012. ![]()
