hi, i need to create a simple flash for a website with InDesign. i have one image box with a title. the title should be stable but i need a few images to follow one after another in the image box. how do i integrate more-picture transition in one image frame? thank you very much
The lack of response may mean it can't be done the way you describe. I don't do animation at all , so I'm not qualified to give advice, but maybe what you need to d is stack objects instead of trying to put them into one frame (and the only way I know to put multiple objects in a single frame is to group them and use Paste Into).
i need to create a simple flash for a website with InDesign
One question: Why?
Flash is being avoided these days due to lack of support on some mobile devices. Adobe Edge may be a better way to go but you can also try any variety of image sliders to fulfil your request - assuming I have understood your request correctly. Sliders like NivoSlider and WOW slider. You can then set an absolute positioned div over this slider as your title frame.
If you are dead set on this way though, you can create a multi-state object slideshow in InDesign:

i wanted to use ID or Flash because I have them within my premium pack, but i would use even something else if needed... i don't know those sliders you mention, but they seem that they can be used only as plugn-ins in WordPress or JQuery, Joomla... can't they? i have my webpage in Dreamweaver, i think it could be integrated in the code, too.
to be concrete - the images should slide automatically, i thought that it may be possible in ID... something like this:
It can be done in InDesign by creating a simple Slide Show with multiple frame but the problem is looping the whole animation again , as it leaves the white paper background in the end.
I have provided the link of SWF I created from InDesign , see if this what you are for :-
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16243351/Untitled-1.swf
the looping problem , I think not sure at all , can be done in the coding of the website to run the swf again.
yep, this is exactly what i need... which tools in ID did you use for it? briefly at least
looping must be surely solved out in some way, if it can't be done in ID, through the coding, as you are writing... but hard to believe that there's no such a function in ID within the tools for swf creating
So, this is what I did ,
1) I placed the Six images in the InDesign
2) Selected the one image and then go to "Animation panel" , applied the "Fade out" Animation and change the "Duration" and "Event" based on the requirment.
3) Folow the Step 2 for rest of the 5 images.
4) Select all the images and go to "Align " panel and aligned the placed images in a form of Stack using the "Align Horizontal Center" and "Align Vertical Cente"
5) Export to SWF
