Cannot Install CS4 On New MacBook

I purchased a new MacBook Pro but it won't read my CS4 install discs. To check discs, I went to my old Mac and they worked just fine, so it isn't an issue with the discs. I also installed another program via disc onto my new Mac and that worked fine, so it isn't my new Mac. Any suggestions?
