Getting Hardware failure when burning DVD

Hi All,

I'm constantly getting hardwar failures when I'm burning a dvd within Encore CS6

It only happens when I burn a 2 hour and 50 mintue project.

This this not happen when I'm burning a 10 mintue video.

Some one suggested using a different brand.

But I use the same brand for the long version and get hardware failure and the small 10 minute video I do not get the error.

I took the same project and use Encore CS5.5 and I do not get the Hardware failure message and the dvd burns successfully.

When I export the long 2hour 50 minute project with PP CS 6.1, I use using these exported settings,

- Format: Mpeg2-DVD

- Preset NTSC Progressive High Quality

- Quality 5

- Bitrate Encoding :VBR, 2 Pass

- Target bitrate 5

I thought maybe the DVD is almost full and its causing the hardware failure but I still have more than half a gig left before its full.

Any suggestions?
