So I had the spry image slideshow w/filmstrip working on my website (after making a change to the coding as per Altruistic Gramps suggestion) and now the same issue has started again. I haven't worked on this page for over 2 weeks and it was working properly 4 days ago.
Every time someone goes to use the products page, the notice SpryPanelSelector.js requires SpryWidget.js, and so on. I have tried re-loading the widget but it doesn't resolve the issue.
It even gives me this problem when I try to live view the page from Dreamweaver.
Here is the page I am trying to correct:
borderlink.ca/prod.html.
I made sure that all the Spry Assets and Spry-UI-1.7 files were uploaded to the server, and I am using DW CS5.5 and filezilla to up-load the files.
Any help would be awesome!
If that works, please let me know but I suspect it won't. The fact that it just "stopped working" raises questions. A couple weeks ago I read that Adobe is moving away from supporting Spry and putting focus on JQuery: http://blogs.adobe.com/dreamweaver/2012/08/update-on-adobe-spry-framew ork-availability.html
Well it partially worked. Now I can at least preview the slideshow from Dreamweaver but when I re-upload all the files (the page, the images, the spry folder, etc) it still will not work in live form.
I guess I will have to try looking at the JQuery slideshows and see if one will work for our website.
Please let me know if you have any luck fixing this issue yourself!
