Elements 10 Won't Load

I installed the Costco version of Elements 10 on my XP system and it doesn't load when I click on the program. It has in the past, but not now. It seems to be loading, then quits. Any solutions?

    Do you receive any specific error messages?  What service pack do you have installed on your Windows XP computer?

    I have Service Pack 3 and receive no messages whatsoever.

     

    At one earlier point, I did receive Error 2343, I think it was, and resolved that.

     

    When I try to install again from the disk, it only gives me the option of uninstalling.

    Can you try opening the program from Start>All Programs?  You should be able to locate the shortcut to launch the program there.

    Just for the heck of it, I just ran RegClean Pro. It found 53 'Startup and Uninstall' errors which it corrected. Then, I rebooted.

     

    I was then able to load Elements Organizer by going to All Programs.

     

    Then, I exited the program, and tried it a second time. Nope, just a blip on the HD light,,then nothing.

     

    I rebooted again. It loaded.

     

    It appears there's something which requires a reboot prior to loading Elements.

     

    Appreciate your help.
