unfortunately i cant as its not live yet but when i check in different browsers through dreamweaver these few buttons do not change colour. The only buttons that do are the sprymenudown.gif buttons

The out of the box SpryMenuBar does function properly. It looks like you have modified one or more of the original files. At this stage we are not privy to the changes that you have made. Until such time that you do reveal the changes, we will not be able to help you.

Sooner or later, you will have to publish the site. Perhaps this is a chance to make it sooner.

thankyou Gramps...yes i modified the webkit to to more than 0s so the buttons had a slower colour change, i felt this looked better but i think i have got in a muddle. mt site looks fab but admit i have a lot to learn on the code side.

Bingo!! i have fixed it. There were some rogue codes that i have put in. In split they were still there and hadnt been deleted. Many thanks for your advice.
