Rendering - Audio is not included?

Completely stuck!

Render the composition and the video is fine but there is no audio? All standard settings no customs.

If I do click the audio in output settings it just renders with audio only? (Setting here: http://screencast.com/t/CB005NFPJoJ - audio is unticked as standard)

Help!

AE doesn't default to rendering audio in the Render Queue.  Open the Output Module, and click on the appropriate check box to include it.

It is.  Do you know for a fact that there is a good audio track in your comp?  Have you previewed the audio to check?  Have you8 avoided the use of MP3 audio in AE?  AE doesn't like MP3's, you have to use wav or aiff.  If you have a video layer with audio, does it have a separate audio track which you can see with the ll (two lower case L's) command, or is the audio multiplexed (aka muxed), meaning the audio is embedded in the video?
