I recently purchased Photoshop CS6 Extended from Best Buy, but I can't seem to install it to my MacBook Pro. I've never had any kind of Photoshop trial on this computer so that's not part of the issue. When I put the disc in the computer it makes the sounds like it's reading it, but then it does nothing. No messages pop up at all, it's like there's no disc in my computer. This is the first disc I've ever had in the computer and the computer is pretty new, so I don't think my cd-thingy is broken.
In short..
I put the disc in, nothing happens.
Need to use photoshop tonight for an assignment so help ASAP would be appreciated!
Thanks
You can check the DVD on the different computer , to make sure the DVD is right.
Check a different DVD on your Mac to make sure the DVD reader is working ok (there could be maufacturing fault)
As a workaround , download the software as the trial and then serialize it with your serial number.
Hi
If nothing happens could be multiple reasons. Did we try to use the same disk on a differnt computer. ? just to check if its woking there!
However you can also download the trial version of photoshop cs6 and then enter the serial number which you got at the time of purchase , if its urgent to use the application.
the download links are available on adobe.com
the link is http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop&loc=en_u s
Hope It helps
