Dreamweaver CS6 importing word document

Running dreamweaver cs6 on OS x 10.8.1

One of the new options in dreamweaver cs6 is importing word documents. (file, import, word document). In OS x I can't find this option. Other option is to drag the word document in dreamweaver page.

Both I can't find/ not working.

Dreamweaver working under operating system windows 7 can operate quite well!!

Please help me out

    Running dreamweaver cs6 on OS x 10.7.4  :

     

    - I can't  either using your path (file, import, word doc).

     

    - Dragging the Word doc doesn't work for me either.

     

    - I can open both file windows so they are side by side, select all (or whatever) in Word, cut and paste into dreamweaver without any problems.

    File > Import > Word Document is a Windows only command in Dreamweaver.

     

    Your best option on a Mac is to cut and paste text from Word to DW

    In DW, use Edit > Paste Special > Plain Text to strip out all the MS Office junk code before it reaches your HTML document.
